Third Annual Mentorship Program Kicks Off on August 21
The third Annual Mentorship program for the 160 students under the KenGen Education Scholarships will take place at Starehe Boys Centre, Nairobi from 21 – 24 August.
The three-day program will be handled by the renowned motivational trainers, Peak Performance, top professionals and public figures including TV personality Janet Mbugua, and gospel singer Rufftone will also participate in guiding and counselling the students to help them set out their education and career goals. Other invited speakers include radio personality Amina Abdi and Elizabeth Wamwea from Gertrudes Childrens Hospital.
The students will be mentored on academic performance and career guidance through in depth confidence training exercises within an environment that encourages peer relationships, networking, and exchange of ideas and experiences.

The Annual Mentorship Program is an integral component of the Education pillar of KenGen’s ’ Corporate Social Investment and is aligned with the Foundation’s mission of transforming livelihoods through impactful and sustainable programs. It is designed and modeled towards attracting leading professionals to deliver lectures and workshops.
