Second GIC Runners Up had their day at Olkaria

Mwea Primary School went against all odds to ensure a 45% survival rate of their Mukau and Muveshi tree seedlings during Phase I of the GIC schools greening competition sponsored by KenGen Foundation, Better Globe Forestry and Bamburi Cement ltd.

The students spent the night at Fisherman’s Camp, located at the shores of Lake Naivasha, to the grunting of foraging hippopotami, an experience that will be forever etched in their memories.
