MY EXPERIENCE IN MENTORING THE “TRIOS”
We also agreed to set rules which would guide on their day to day routine with two underlined principles, (1) Being spiritually connected to the Almighty God and (2) obedience to parents and teachers
When the Trios break for half term or close school, the first born usually communicates with me to announce their availability, and then we set dates and venue of the meeting, mainly at Kamburu Club Matendeni. Once that is communicated, he conveys the message to the rest and they prepare to come for a session with me.
We begin by an opening prayer followed by an interactive session. We then go through each one’s performance against the set targets and discuss solutions for any backtracking and the way forward. We always remember to close with a word of prayer and I ensure their safe departure to their destinations.
It has really been a wonderful experience with my “Trios” and I can’t wait for the KSCE results for the first and Second borns early next year.
