During the Signing at the Sondu Miriu office, Prof, Kimaruka said the Katuk Odeyo area was heavily degraded with huge gullies across the land but expressed optimism that the project will restore the environment and bring awareness of the benefits of conservation to the community.
“We are grad to enter this partnership with Lake Basin College after they approached us for collaboration and provision of the seedlings. As a foundation, we have witnessed the transformational nature of conservation efforts and we believe this collaboration will bear great fruits of a new green area which today looks desolate”, Mr. Njeru observed.
