Employee Giver Initiative Subscriptions Hits 756, Welcomes New Members

The KenGen Giver Initiative is a KenGen Foundation’s program aimed at involving the company’s staff in Corporate Social Responsibility activities in education, environmental conservation, and water and sanitation projects. Employees have a great opportunity to develop their leadership and project management skills, meet and mingle with community members, as well as staff from other stations from different parts of the country.

The Giver Initiative currently has 20 mentors under the Foundation’s Education pillar who are playing a crucial role in ensuring the wholesome development of the students under our scholarships.

Currently, 8 secondary students are being supported through the Giver Initiative.

The Foundation expresses sincere appreciation to all those who have signed up, and is urging those interested in making a difference to sign up through their area’s HR office.
