Aug 19, 2015:- 16 high school students will, today, be the new beneficiaries of University Scholarships from KenGen during the award ceremony to be held  at Starehe Boys’ Centre.

The 16 beneficiaries are part of KenGen’s history in investing in Education as part of its Corporate Social Investment, which started 10 years ago with the first awards going to 14 high school students. Mr. Joshua Choge, KenGen’s Chairman will award the scholarships.

We have over the past 10 years seen the transformation effect of education as we witness young people from extremely humble backgrounds transform themselves to status that they would never have dreamt of without education”, say the KenGen managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Albert Mugo, who also serves as the Chairman of the Kengen Foundation. “Today, we can boast of bright enterprising young people contributing in the shaping and building of our nation, thanks to the KenGen scholarship program”, he further adds.
