The KenGen Foundation, in collaboration with KenGen CDM (Clean Development Mechanism) & Environment, and community representatives from Upper Tana held their first consultative meeting at the Tana power station on 16 December 2015 to brainstorm on new Corporate Social Investment projects to be implemented by the Foundation and funded by the Community Development Carbon Fund (CDCF).

Community representatives, local leaders, and other stakeholders from Kiharu and Maragua constituencies which border KenGen’s Tana Power station were briefed on the Foundation’s role in managing and implementing KenGen’s CSI activities countrywide. Those present represented the communities’ youth, disabled, women, village elders and leaders.
